The importance of servicing for all refrigeration systems should never be under estimated. Regular maintenance can prolong the life of the equipment aswell as reducing the running costs, an important factor in todays economic climate, especially with energy prices at a premium

At Polarcool we take pride in our approach to carrying out this important task. We are happy to provide service cover on a "One off" basis, although a basic service and maintenance agreement with scheduled visits will give the customer peace of mind.

European "F"-Gas Regulations

This legislation became law on the 4th July 2007 and imposes mandatory obligations on the "operators" of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment above a certain size. The regulations are quite lengthy but in brief they require all systems containing 3kg or more of refrigerant to under go a minimum annual service.
In addition, records must be maintained of all relevant repairs along with evidence of the contractors competance to carry out this type of work. The Institute Of Refrigeration have a useful web page detailing the requirments. Click here for further details.
